We zijn opgelucht dat we de keuze gemaakt hebben de optie voor draagmoederschap in Amerika of Canada een kans te geven. Het is fijn dat we niet meer naar te hoeven denken of we hier in Nederland iemand vinden. De onzekerheden die je hebt omdat hier niets geregeld kan worden en je eigenlijk constant met het idee rond moet lopen dat de draagmoeder het kindje houdt. Het is jammer van de afgelopen twee jaar, alle energie en moeite die we in mensen hebben gestopt terwijl deze optie eigenlijk onze voorkeur had, maar we hebben er ook wel weer van geleerd.
Dus nu gaan we er vol tegenaan en willen alles op alles zetten om dit tot een goed einde te gaan brengen! We vinden het ook mooi te horen dat jullie het ook een goed idee vinden. En dat er mensen zijn die ons steunen in deze beslissing en mensen die ons een bijdrage geven om dit grootte bedrag bij elkaar te krijgen. – Crowdfunding – Vertel het aan iedereen!!

We are relieved that we took this step and go for the option of surrogacy in the USA or Canada. We don’t have to wonder about finding someone here in the Netherland. People with different intentions then they led us to believe. And the insecurities with having a baby trough surrogacy here in the Netherlands. There are just so many things to worry about here because of the lack of regulation. So it is a shame that we have wasted the last two years while this option was our primary option, but we did learn a lot of stuff.
So we are now going to give it our all to make this option work and become dads in the coming years. We are glad to hear positive reactions and people supporting us in this decision.
