Het is al even geleden dat er update was over de zwangerschap. Dat komt omdat het gelukkig zonder al teveel gekke dingen vordert. Het enige dat echt vermoeiend is is het niet slapen. Dat zullen sommige van jullie vast herkenen maar dat is wel heel vervelend. Dus we hopen dat Toni zich niet langer dan nodig is gaat melden zodat Verah daarna weer van haar nachtrust kan genieten! Verder groeit hij hard door en groeit het vetlaagje ook goed door haha. Nog even en dan kunnen we zien hoe hij er in het echt uit ziet, en we kunnen niet wachten ❤
In huis is alles zo klaar, zie onze instagram voor foto’s van de babykamer. Zo goed als alles is gewassen, de gordijnen hangen in de babykamer en het wiegje staat er ook klaar voor. De tas die mee kan naar het ziekenhuis zijn we aan het inpakken en de keuze voor kleertjes is zo lastig! Dus waarschijnlijk vullen we gewoon een koffer met alle kleertjes en dan zoeken we daar wel een leuk eerste outfitje.
Bij de laatste echo was het heel grappig dat hij weer een duimpje op stak precies zo als bij de 20 weken echo al was nu niet veel meer dan een handje in beeld te zien. Over anderhalf week hebben we weer een echo en we zijn nu al heel benieuwd hoeveel die dan nog weer gegroeid is.
Hopelijk vliegen de laatste weekjes ook voorbij en kunnen wij daarna beginnen met de slapeloze nachten! Heel benieuwd hoe het allemaal gaat lopen en we houden jullie uiteraard op de hoogte, liefs van ons!

It has been a while since te last update about the pregnancy. Thats because it goes by without a lot of complications. The one exhausting this is the lack of sleep. Some of you will recognise this but it’s really annoying. So we hope that the birth will begin when ready and not two weeks after the expected date and Verah can enjoy some good night rest again after. At the last ultrasound we saw that he grew a lot and also gained a little layer of fat haha so that he will not cold once he will be out in the world. We can’t wait to see how he looks ❤
The nursery is all done, check our instagram for pictures! Almost everything is washed, the curtains are hanging in the nursery and the cradle is ready for him. The hospital bag is almost ready as well but it is hard to make a choice on what to bring so we might end up bringing a whole suitcase with all the clothes haha!
Also at the last ultrasound he gave us another thumbs up. He also did this at the 20th week ultrasound but now only his little hand showed up on the screen because he is so much bigger. In a week and a half we have another ultrasound and we are already curious about the growth from the coming couple of days.
We hope the coming couple of weeks will fly and that we can start not sleeping at night soon. We will keep you all posted!
