Wensvaders – Draagmoederschap

Het is Mei als ik dit typ en een paar dagen geleden zijn we in contact gekomen met iemand die al een aantal jaar rond loopt met het idee draagmoeder te zijn voor een stel. Na wat heen en weer geapp hebben we een afspraak gemaakt en 2 dagen geleden hebben we elkaar ontmoet. Ze heeft een (bijna) man en 3 kindjes. We hebben gepraat over hoe ze erbij kwam en wat haar ideeën zijn, wat de ideeën van haar man zijn en hoe ze alles zien als het kindje eenmaal geboren is. Het was een heel leuk en open gesprek waarin veel dingen aan bod zijn gekomen. Het jongste kindje werd tijdens het gesprek wakker en kwam “erbij zitten”, superschattig en de hele tijd aan het lachen. De oudste was ook wakker en vrolijk heen en weer aan het rennen haha, nieuwe mensen in huis dan moet je wel gezien worden 😀

We zijn er ongeveer 2 uur geweest en toen gingen we weer naar huis met een goed gevoel, leuke aardige mensen met het hart op de goede plek! We hadden afgesproken er beide over na te gaan denken en dan weer wat van elkaar te laten horen en ik zou nog wat linkjes doorsturen. Dat had ik de volgende ochtend (gisteren) gedaan. Een tijdje later, dezelfde dag kreeg ik een berichtje dat ze het er de avond ervoor nog over gehad hadden en het ook een heel fijn gesprek vonden en dat ze tot de conclusie waren gekomen die traject wel met ons aan te willen gaan

Wauw! Super, maar heel onwerkelijk en hoe ga je nu verder…

Dat is iets wat we nu uit gaan zoeken, we gaan in ieder geval snel weer afpreken om verder te kijken hoe en wat. Tot de volgende post! 🙂

Hi everyone, for those that are new we are Stefano & Arnout and we are in search of a way to become dad’s. We have discussed all different options and for us surrogacy is number one. In the Netherlands it is illegal to ask for someone to be our surrogate so we have to come in contact with someone face to face. In these blogs we are telling our story and we hope you enjoy reading it!

In the past half year I have posted some dutch only post but from now on I will also try to translate the stories in English for those who want to read our journey to Fatherhood 🙂
Now on to the blog in dutch above….

It is may when i am writing this blog and a there are some exiting things happening, a couple days ago we got in contact with someone who found our blog and she has the idea to be a surrogate one day for a couple of years now. She wanted to hear our story and after some texting back and forth we decided to meet in person, so we did. We went to her house where she lives with her (soon to be) husband and their 3 children. We talked about why she had the idea to do this and much much more. It was a really real conversation and both parties asked a lot.

After about 2 hours we went home and on our way back we talked about the conversation we just had with the couple and it felt good. Still there is a lot that still has to be said but that’s for another time. They would let us know what they thought of the conversation and if they would think that we are THE couple to go on this journey with. The next day there where some text back and forth and I think that afternoon we got a message saying that they really liked our conversation and the would want us to be the couple to do this with. And with that there was the possibility to become parents in the next year or so!

Still a lot to talk about and stuff to figure out but amazing we came to this point!
